State Coordinators

The role:
Role of the State Coordinators is pivotal for The Institute in ensuring that it’s core objectives are met effectively across the country. These professionals are tasked with overseeing implementation of our strategies that align with our vision.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison /protocol for stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration to drive membership;
- Drive membership for The Institute within the State;
- Coordinate Training programs within the State;.
- Prepare detailed Quarterly Performance Reports on activities within the state;
- Establish and manage the IGRCP State Office;
- Develop, support and safeguard the implementation of specific projects
- Build up, coordinate and manage an evolving State program for IGRCP
- Representation of IGRCP in the State
- Make special efforts to acquiring institutional funding for IGRCP
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Tertiary institution;
- Professional in the field of GRC;
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in management;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the management of program teams and offices;
- Fluent in English ;
- Demonstrate analytical and strategic planning skills including proficiency in project cycle management, narrative and financial reporting as well as monitoring and evaluation;
- Proven skills in capacity development, coaching and leadership
- Ability to network, coordinate and cooperate with partners, staff, government authorities, local communities and other NGOs and build strong mutual relationships;
- Sensitivity to cultural differences, ability to adapt to context and work under pressure
Marketing Officers

Role:
The role of State Marketers is pivotal in ensuring that the Institute’s objectives are effectively communicated and understood across various stakeholders in the State. These professionals are tasked with developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives that promote the Institute’s services and programs. By leveraging their expertise in marketing State Marketers play a crucial role in enhancing the Institute’s visibility and credibility.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and needs for The Institute;
- Craft targeted messaging that resonates with both public and private entities in the State;
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community organizations;
- Engage in outreach activities, attending conferences, and participating in networking events to foster collaboration and partnerships that advance the Institute’s vision and mission;
- Contribute in the implementation of marketing strategies;
- Support the State Coordinator in overseeing operations;
- Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness;
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for The Institute’s initiatives;
- Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the Institute’’s presence in the State;
- Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution;
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth; and
- Collaborate with State Coordinator in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role;
- Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles;
- Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM);
- Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics;
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Creativity and commercial awareness;
- A team player with a customer-oriented approach; and
- Graduate in marketing, business administration or relevant field.
Country Coordinators
For each country in Africa

Role:
- Developing networks and partnerships with national, regional and international institutions in the country;
- Keeping up-to-date in terms of relevant developments and trends within the development sector and donors to inform how these will impact on programme direction and effectiveness;
- Developing relations with key stakeholders in-country and expanding the partnership base of the IGRCP Programs by actively seeking and developing new opportunities for business development;
- Providing inputs for the on-going review and development of the country action plan in line with the overall regional strategy, and of individual project objectives;
- Ensuring that all IGRCP programs are effectively monitored and evaluated, are on target, are appropriate, necessary, cost effective, sustainable and in keeping with shared philosophy and strategy;
- Follow up implementation of capacity programs ;
- Working closely with the Head Office to ensure best practice in all aspects of project cycle management;
- Ensuring positive working relationships with all partners and stakeholders (government ministries, communities, NGOs, etc.);
- Working with partner organisations to drive forward and develop national and sometimes regional activities for the IGRCP;
- Encouraging the development of appropriate research with a view to improving the quality ofprogram delivery;
Requirements:
Education /Qualification
- Minimum Master’s degree in social sciences, strategic/program management, management studies or other related discipline;
- Additional extensive training and experience in at least one of the areas of GRC thematic work
Relevant Work Experience
- Progressive experience of program management (at least 5 years) in the NGO sector with a proven track record as a senior manager and leader, including experience in developing and implementing strategic plans;
- Proven experience in proposal development from concept note to full proposal and experience in other innovative strategies of resource mobilization with a proven record in raising substantial research/development funds;
- Proven experience as representative of an NGO and managing partner relationships;
- Proven experience of working autonomously and remotely from support teams in start-up stage of programs;
- Strong financial management skills;
- Experience in liaising with government and private sector officials
- A strong commitment to the aims, objectives, and values of IGRCP
- High level of initiative, motivation, commitment, and professionalism
- Well established and practiced organizational and planning skills; extensive knowledge and experience of project cycle management including using project planning and management key tools
- The ability and resilience to cope with multiple internal and external demands together with proven experience in managing change in complex environments
- Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills.
- Strong interpersonal and inter-cultural communication skills. This should include the ability to instill trust and confidence in partner organisations and colleagues from a variety of backgrounds
- Commitment to international and humanitarian NGO codes, standards, and practices
- Be able to be adaptable and capable of working in a multicultural environment
- Demonstrated ability to undertake high-level representation and advocacy.
- Ability to handle a large workload, work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent spoken and written English/French skills;
- A valid driving licence.
