About the Institute
The Institute for Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Professionals [IGRCP] is the leading source of information and networking opportunities within the GRC industry in Nigeria and across the globe, with members from a wide range of organisations -both private and public. Our non-profit organisation represents individuals and companies committed to the enhancement of the GRC discipline.
IGRCP is a recognized body for GRC practice in Nigeria, Africa and the globe , and is, therefore, the Institute of choice for GRC professionals and practitioners globally, dedicated to the advancement of the GRC profession and accreditation, through research, certification, education, capacity building, training, guidance and strong relationships with other Institutes or Associations.
Fellow
This is the highest class of membership and members in this category may use the designation ‘FIGRC’.
An individual may be elected into the class of Fellows by the Council of the Institute if s/he satisfies all or some of these requirements:
- Shall have been in the practice of GRC for not less than ten years, or twenty years gross practice in his/her core field, five years or more of which must have been in active practice of GRC;
- Must have been actively engaged in the activities of the Institute and shall have made verifiable contributions to the profession and practice of GRC; and
- Shall be someone of good standing in the society.
